How To Differentiate Cameras When Exporting Footage From Your Recorder(On The Old Interface)

Below you will learn how to tell cameras apart in the Export screen on this particular recorder interface. You will notice that in the camera selection area of the screen(pictured below) that they are labelled A1,A2,D1,D2, etc. This, of course, isn’t very helpful. By the end of this article, you will be able to work around this.

Step 1: Right click. You should see this menu. (If you are prompted for a password and do not have this information, please contact us.) Click menu.
Step 2: Click Configuration.
Step 3: Click Live View.
Step 4: Click View.
Step 5: This screen layout mirrors the layout of the cameras on your main screen. (In other words, if you wanted to take footage from the bottom-left camera, you would need to select A3 on the export screen.) I recommend to take a photo of this, if possible. If not, you will have to go back and forth, following the directions above.
TIP: The grid icon on the bottom of the page changes the divisions you see here. (If you only have 4 cameras, this information isn't relevant.) Example: If you click 4x4, you will see a 4x4 grid. (The arrow button on the bottom-right of the screen brings you to the next page, if you happen to have more than 16.)
